We have turned one our planters into a mini herb garden! Based on examples elsewhere we are trialling the creation of a community herb garden for collective use by residents. Fancy a bit of rosemary with that Sunday lamb?…take a snip from the planter! Chair person Christina Hewitt said “we thought the introduction of a mini herb garden would be a welcome addition for residents. If it works well we will look to set up others in different parts of our parish.” The herb planter is located on the Village Green in Lower Walton. Take a look next time you are passing.
