Our Christmas event took place on Saturday 29th November on the village green in Lower Walton. Despite the threat of rain, many people came along to join in with the family fun. There were lots of festive treats and it was wonderful to see so many families having an enjoyable time. Free food, carol singing, balloon modelling, face painting were some of the activities available; and of course a visit from Santa! The festivities culminated in the switching on of the Christmas tree lights to the sound of wonderful carol singing led by the choir from St John’s church, Walton. A big thank-you to everyone who supported this year’s event. Each year Walton Parish Council uses funds donated by Creamfields to make it free to the local community.
